Instruyen a CGE la instalación de medidores de voltaje en La Higuera y sus localidades

La Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles (SEC) y la SEREMI de Energía solicitaron a la distribuidora CGE la instalación de medidores de voltaje en las comunas de La Higuera, Paihuano, Salamanca y Monte Patria, a raíz de los reportes de cortes de suministro durante el presente año. 

Según el organismo fiscalizador, la instalación de estos equipos permite determinar la cantidad de interrupciones en un punto determinado, el comportamiento del alimentador instalado y establecer los niveles de tensión de la línea eléctrica. 

Los primeros medidores se instalaron en las localidades de Caleta Hornos y El Trapiche, comuna de La Higuera. 

El Seremi de Energía, Álvaro Herrera, sostuvo que “como Ministerio de Energía, por medio de nuestro brazo fiscalizador la SEC, velamos porque las familias de nuestra Región reciban un suministro eléctrico continuo y de calidad. Al instalar estos equipos y detectar antecedentes que sugieran problemas, la SEC determinará eventualmente acciones concretas para que la distribuidora realice las diligencias necesarias para mejorar la calidad de un servicio básico y fundamental para nuestros vecinos”.  

El Director Regional de la SEC, Carlos Herrera, sostuvo que “los equipos que se están instalando estarán durante 7 días para medir la calidad y continuidad de suministro minuto a minuto, debido a los reclamos que hemos recibido de parte de las autoridades y según el registro que tenemos en la Superintendencia, es justamente La Higuera la que presenta los mayores cortes de suministro en el año, por eso es importante esta medida”. 

Por su parte, el Alcalde de La Higuera, Yerko Galleguillos, añadió que “históricamente nuestra comuna ha tenido problemas de distribución de energía eléctrica, son muchas las interrupciones que sufrimos y obviamente los vecinos se ven muy afectados. Es por eso que con la rápida acción de la empresa, gracias a una audiencia que tuve con el seremi de Energía, solicitamos la posibilidad de instalar estos medidores que van a calcular precisamente los periodos y la cantidad de interrupciones del servicio en La Higuera y, de esa manera, obligar a CGE a mejorar cada vez más la prestación en beneficio de la comunidad”. 

Según cifras preliminares, las comunas ya mencionadas han evidenciado constantes interrupciones, de ahí la importancia del trabajo en terreno que la SEREMI y la SEC están comenzando a desplegar en La Higuera y el resto de las comunas.
